MAYA KAZAN

Maya Kazan is writer/director and an actress. She's been acting and directing since she was old enough to play the Dog to her sister’s Juliet, but she did not discover her love of filmmaking until college. (She graduated from Wesleyan University this past spring, with a degree in Film Studies.) At Wesleyan, she had the opportunity to make (work on, and act in) several short films, including several honors-winning senior theses. Her last completed short was her senior thesis, entitled I Bit My Lip So Hard It Bled, which received Honors in the department. She is currently studying acting at The William Esper Studio. She is also in post-production on her most recent short, Lulu at the Ace Hotel, which was produced by Killer Films, in association with the web company Massify.com. It is scheduled to be completed this spring.
